Francis learned how to control air at a younger age than most of his peers, which caused him to be a little of a prodigy and get treated as such, causing him to be somewhat arrogant. He may have had too much encouragement and not enough discipline, as his over-confidence in his air abilities cost him his own leg one day. It may have hurt his leg, but it sure never did hurt his pride. He still thinks today that his nickname is a compliment, when in reality, is basically sarcasm.
