Bug Unable to complete Ives Estate Quest

Hello,

I just went and fought the pirates at the Ives estate, looted the chest and got the family heirloom. However, when I go to complete the quest, it says I don't have the item and it's not showing up in my inventory. But when I go back to the house, I can't loot the chest again as it's already open. Is there anyway that I can complete the quest?
